Summer Schools and Masterclasses
Music@ Felcino Bianco provides opportunities for advanced individual professional training, masterclasses in chamber music and concerts for both professional and gifted amateur musicians; all set in glorious countryside on the Tuscan/Umbrian border in Italy.
Elvira Bekova, as artistic director, offers a season including up to three Summer Schools, each lasting two weeks. (The season begins in late June and ends in August).

Up to 30 students can enrol for each course, which will concentrate on violin, viola and violoncello, with a small number of piano students, so that not only works for strings are included, but also repertoire for chamber music and piano accompaniment. Cello jazz/improvisation is also available (see www.cellorhythmics.com).
Students will benefit from intensive tuition and masterclasses on a daily basis, and performance. The intention is also that the students will prepare a concert to be performed at the end of the course in a public arena.
Tuition will be provided by Alfia Bekova (violoncello) and Elvira Bekova (violin) of the Bekova Trio, James Hesford (jazz cello/guitar), and other distinguished musicians including Povilas Stravinsky (USA) and Leonora Baldelli (Italy) - pianoforte.
